What do I need, a question we don’t often ask ourselves, why? Brad Larson opens up this conversation. And one of the biggest needs is VERBALIZING these specifics things to another brother. It’s a swift challenge for us grow as leaders. To be a man we need to know what we need. Even more to be a POWERFUL man we need to understand that God knows what we need even before we ask, Matthew 6:8... so, we start by asking Him. As you’ll see Brad takes us down a practical road on how to become an integrated man. You hear often in these episodes about the Pillars, about 6 Strong. We have 6 areas, 6 pillars to steward. It’s crucial for us to know where we are and then know what to do in stewarding them. To be an integrated man we don’t settle for having 2 of them strong. We want all 6 strong aka 6 Strong. It may be as simple as starting to journal. As they say, generals and geniuses' journal. Maybe start there but start. It's either one day or day 1.

Jocko, Mylett, Goggins, Grover, or any other "mentally tough" guru you want to mention holds no candle to the most mentally tough man to ever live, King Jesus. They are mere shells to the one who invented mental toughness, the growth mindset, and the one who gave/gives His life for us. But, there's a reason He was able to do what he did. It wasn't mantra's, a solid morning routine as those are bi-products of a strong mind, even necessary... it was something else. And "that'' something else we can do everyday if we want to follow His example. We want to be mentally tough, we want to be strong as men, but we have to have the mindset of the Master, we must do what He did in order to live as he did. We can do this, but it only comes one way. We will discuss this in this episode.

In this episode Brad Larson is challenging us to rise, to find brotherhood, and surrender at the feet of Jesus. Brad also starts off the night with men writing their eulogy. As they stand over your grave what will they say? "He worked really hard and succeeded in business" "He made a lot of money and provided a good life for us" OR Will they say "he was present, he was a fighter, he fought for his family" and "He fought for us, and was surrendered to the King." It's time to disrupt our destructive patterns, re-write our story so when they do stand over our grave they'll say "He was like Him."
